BRAND IDENTITY & ADVERTISING
Peer Logo Design
I developed a full brand identity for a classmate as part of a conceptual design project. This assignment challenged me to take someone else’s vision and translate it into a cohesive visual language, creating a brand that feels both personal and professional. From the logo to color palette and typography, every detail was designed to reflect their individuality.
By conducting a couple meetings with my classmate, I was able to craft a brand that not only represents them visually, but also bring what they were imagining to fruition. To make the branding feel flexible and complete, I developed a few variations and mockups.
Personal Logo Design
For this project, I created a personal brand. This project tested my ability to advertise myself. Through a lot of trial, error, and begging my peers for useful feedback, I landed on a logo based on the classic typography G. From there, I designed a background pattern for a couple mockups that I’ve included and the moodboard I built for myself.
This project showcases my ability to distill complex ideas into a clear and memorable brand presence using typography, color, and form.
Ijams Nature Center Billboard
For this assignment, I designed a billboard for Ijams Nature Center completely out of vector art. This project challenged me to communicate Ijams’ mission without any photos or pre-exisiting vectors – everything had to be completely unique.
Onde Luxury Wine
I was assigned to create a luxury wine brand and create a billboard advertising said wine brand. This project pushed me to experiment with luxury design, appealing to those who enjoy luxury wine and being more artistic with my design, while remaining within the perameters of the assignment.
Double Time Brand Invention
As a graphic designer obsessed with upbeat jazz and traditional coffee, I dedicated myself over the course of three months to creating Double Time Coffee – my conceptual jazz-themed coffee brand. This project allowed me to experiment with combing the erratic, soulful nature of jazz with the down-to-earth feeling that coffee shops usually have. From logo design to packaging, every element was crafted to evoke rhythm, movement, and vintage charm, while obstaining from becoming too vintage.
With Double Time Coffee, I aimed to create a company that stood up in the bland, corporately-washed world that is modern coffee. To better achieve the look of a well-rounded brand, I created a couple different styles and campaigns.
Bombas Ad Campaign
For this project, I created a conceptual ad campaign for Bombas, focusing on their mission of giving back. I designed a series of bold, clean visuals that highlight the brand’s commitment to both style and social impact. This project allowed me to balance strong messaging with a bright, approachable design style.
